FHI - Federated Hermes acquires registered investment advisor C.W. Henderson

• Federated Hermes ( NYSE: FHI ) on Monday has agreed to purchase registered investment advisor ("RIA") C.W. Henderson for an undisclosed amount.
• Chicago-based C.W. Henderson, which has nearly 1.5K client accounts, specializes in managing municipal securities, with $3.63B in total assets under management as of June 30.
• "Combining the proven investment acumen of C.W. Henderson's team and their active investment process with Federated Hermes' extensive distribution capabilities will give our company a new opportunity to grow our $23 billion SMA business," said Federated Hermes CEO and President J. Christopher Donahue.
• The transaction is expected to close in Q3, according to the release.
• In September 2021, Federated Hermes completed the acquisition of $562M of Horizon Advisors assets .
