• Fidelity National Information Services ( NYSE: FIS ) pared declines on a report that Visa ( NYSE: V ) may be eyeing the company for a potential acquisition.
• Visa ( V ) was said to be looking at Fidelity National ( FIS ) before it recently announced that it it would spin off its Worldplay division, according to a Betaville uncooked alert, which cited what people following the matter had heard.
• Visa may still be interested in some or all of Fidelity National ( FIS ) and could make a bid in coming months prior to the formal spin off of the Worldplay unit.
• FIS announced on Feb. 13 that it planned to spin-off of its Merchant Solutions business.
