FTIV - FinTech Acquisition IV shareholders approve Weinberg Perella deal

IV (FTIV) voted to approve the previously announced acquisition of Perella Weinberg Partner and the SPAC expects the transaction to close on June 24. About 99.9% of votes cast at the meeting, representing ~79.24% of FTIV's outstanding shares, voted to approve the combination. In addition, the deadline for electing redemptions has passed and no stockholder has elected to redeem their shares in connection with the business combination. Once the deal closes, the combined company will operate as Perella Weinberg Partners and will be listed on Nasdaq under the new symbol "PWP."
