FFIN - First Financial Bankshares names ex-Independent Bank exec as CFO

First Financial Bankshares ( NASDAQ: FFIN ) said Tuesday James R. Gordon resigned from his role as the lender's executive vice president and chief financial officer effective Jan. 9 to pursue other opportunities, thus Michelle S. Hickox has been elected to fill in his shoes.
Hickox most recently served as CFO of Independent Financial Group, where she led it through its 2013 initial public offering, and its subsidiary, Independent Bank ( INDB ).
Gordon agreed to serve as a consultant to assist in the transition process.
For its third quarter, First Financial Bankshares Q3 GAAP EPS of $0.41 in-line, revenue of $134.1M missed by $2.89M .
