Vancouver, BC, Canada – TheNewswire - June 15, 2023 –First Tellurium Corp. (CSE: FTEL ) , ( OTC: FSTTF ) (the“Company” or “First Tellurium”), reports it has engaged BurgexMining Consultants of Sandy, Utah to stake additional claims aroundthe Company’s Klondike gold-tellurium project in Saguache County,Colorado. The claims have been filed with the Bureau of LandManagement (BLM). The number and extent of the holdings will beannounced once the Company receives confirmation from Burgex and theBLM.

Klondike is known for exceptionally high telluriumgrades, and it was a top tellurium prospect held previously by FirstSolar Inc. when it was acquiring mineral properties to sourcetellurium for its solar panels. First Solar terminated its worldwideraw materials exploration program in 2012 and sold the property toColorado Klondike LLC, which optioned the project to First Tellurium.Colorado Klondike, led by First Solar’s former Exploration Managerin North America, is managing the upcoming exploration program.

The Colorado Geological Survey (CGS), in partnershipwith the Colorado School of Mines, reported on First Solar’sexploration at Klondike in the 2015 Colorado Mineral and EnergyIndustry Activities 2014-2015 publication. In particular, the CGSnoted:

“Surface sampling by First Solar, Inc. in 2006 foundvery high tellurium grades of up to 3.3% (33,000 ppm), along withlocally high gold grades. Tellurium grades at Klondike were thehighest encountered in the company’s nationwide explorationprogram.”
