MGPI - Former Congresswoman Lynn Jenkins Joins MGP Ingredients Board of Directors
ATCHISON, Kan., Feb. 05, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MGP Ingredients, Inc. (Nasdaq:MGPI), a leading supplier of premium distilled spirits and specialty wheat proteins and starches, announced today that Lynn Jenkins, former U.S. Representative from Kansas, has joined its board of directors.
Jenkins, a Certified Public Accountant, has 20 years’ experience in elected office assisting Kansas residents. She represented Kansas’ 2nd Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2009 until her retirement. Jenkins contributed her financial expertise as a member of the House Financial Services Committee for two years and on the House Ways and Means Committee for the last eight years.
Prior, she held offices in the Kansas Senate and Kansas House of Representatives.
