HNHAF - Foxconn and Stellantis announcing new vehicle JV on Tuesday

Apple assembler Foxconn, formally known as Hon Hai Precision (HNHAF), will announce a new strategic partnership with automaker Stellantis (STLA) in a conference call on Tuesday. Stellantis was born when Fiat Chrysler merged with Peugeot maker PSA earlier this year, which created the world's fourth-largest automaker. A Chinese market relaunch was a primary goal for the new company.Last year, Fiat Chrysler said it intended to set up a JV with Foxconn dedicated to the development and building of electric and internet-connected vehicles.Related: Last week, Foxconn signed a new vehicle production agreement with Fisker.
