HNHAF - Foxconn in talks to use Wisconsin plant for electric vehicles

hapabapa/iStock Editorial via Getty Images Foxconn, formally known as Hon Hai (HNHAF), is in talks with the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation about potentially using its factor in the state to produce electric vehicles. Earlier this year, Foxconn dialed back plans for its $10B Wisconsin plant, which was supposed to manufacture advanced flat-panel displays. The project's shifting focus and delays led to a cut in the original government subsidies that were tied to employment rates.  Foxconn has been on a deal-making streak with EV makers such as Stellantis and Fisker.
