HNHAF - Foxconn invests in Li-metal battery maker SES
Scott Olson/Getty Images News Foxconn, formally known as Hon Hai (HNHAF) has disclosed it will invest in Singapore-based SES, a maker of Li-metal batteries, a move in line with its ambitious deployments in the electric vehicle sector, according to Digitimes. The Company did not specify the sum it will invest in SES, but the move comes closely on the heels of its plan to invest NT$1 billion in Giga Solar. SES has recently announced that it will merge with a SPAC firm Ivanhoe Capital to go public in the U.S. SES's shareholders include SK Inc, General Motors, Hyundai, KIA, Temasek, etc. Previously (July 9): Foxconn in talks to use Wisconsin plant for electric vehicles
