FSNUF - Fresenius evaluating selling Quironsalud for as much as  Euro7B - report

  • Germany's Fresenius SE ( OTCPK:FSNUF ) is evaluating selling Spanish hospital group Quironsalud for as much as €7 billion.
  • Private equity firm CVC Capital Partners, who previously owned Quironsalud, is viewed as a potential bidder, according to a Cinco Días report , which didn't cite any sources for its information. Fresenius ( OTCPK:FSNUF ) purchased Quironsalad for €5.76 billion in 2017.
  • Quironsalud declined to comment to Cinco Días.
  • The report comes after a Bloomberg item in October said activist Elliott Investment Management took a stake in Fresenius ( OTCPK:FSNUF ) and may be looking for a break up of the health care conglomerate.
