FRPT - Freshpet Q3 2025: Improved Quarter But Cautious Outlook

Freshpet, Inc. ( FRPT ) released its Q3 2025 earnings results earlier this week, beating earnings expectations for the second consecutive quarter, making up for a disappointing Q1 2025 . The last time I wrote about Freshpet was in April 2024. I gave it a hold rating because it had not yet delivered annual profits, it was not generating positive annual cash flow, and its valuation appeared expensive relative to peers in the industry. Since then, the stock has risen and fallen again, losing 46.50% of its value since my last article, but financials have improved annually. In Q3 2025, the company grew revenue by 14% YoY and delivered its first positive free-cash-flow quarter. However, costs are increasing, management lowered the FY guidance for 2025, and its valuation is still high on a number of metrics relative to peers. Therefore, I maintain a Hold rating....
