GAL - Galileo Mining kicks off drilling north of Callisto

Galileo Mining Ltd(ASX:GAL, OTC:GLMGF) MD Brad Underwood tells Proactive the firstsystematic drill program targeting highly prospective rocks alongstrike from the Callisto nickel-palladium discovery is underway. A4,000-metre drill program is planned with drilling to take around onemonth to complete and assay results expected in October. The programwill also include follow up work at Jimberlana North and JimberlanaSouth prospects where shallow and prospective sulphide zones havepreviously been intersected.

“We have significantly advanced our understandingof the geology since we made the Callisto nickel and palladiumdiscovery and we are now beginning the focused exploration of thoseprospects we believe have the strongest potential for furthersuccess.

“Within the same drill program, we will also be undertakingfollow-up drilling at the Jimberlana North and South prospects, wherewe have already shown that prospective sulphides occur.

“This is an excitingperiod of work for Galileo and we are looking forward to the resultsof drilling,“ Underwood said.
