GD - GDIT secures ~$2.5B contract from IHS to upgrade health record systems

General Dynamics Information Technology said Monday it won a contract from the Indian Health Service to modernize its electronic health record system worth up to $2.5 billion.
The indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract has a five-year base period with five option years.
GDIT will replace the agency's existing health record and patient system with a new cloud-based enterprise EHR system from Oracle Health.
