GNSS - Genasys awarded contract to provide critical notifications to Aramco

  • Genasys ( NASDAQ: GNSS ) on Thursday said it had been awarded a contract to provide critical notifications to Saudi oil giant Aramco ( ARMCO ).
  • The contract value was not disclosed.
  • The contract is for GNSS's Genasys Emergency Management (GEM) enterprise services.
  • "Under the contract, Aramco will use GEM to create, manage, and deliver geo-targeted, multichannel notifications to employees if risk is detected," GNSS CEO Richard Danforth said in a statement .
  • GNSS separately announced FQ1 results , reporting a miss on both earnings and revenue.
  • Genasys ( GNSS ) stock was 3.3% lower to $3.50 after hours.
