GNK - Genco Shipping & Trading CFO Apostolos Zafolias to step down

Genco Shipping & Trading ( NYSE: GNK ) on Wednesday said its CFO Apostolos Zafolias would be stepping down.
Zafolias is anticipated to serve in his current roles through June 15 and then as a consultant through Dec. 31 to assist with the transition, GNK said in a statement .
According to the company, Zafolias has been with GNK since 2005 and has served as its CFO since 2014.
GNK did not provide any details on Zafolias' replacement.
Genco ( GNK ) stock earlier closed -2.9% at $16.19.
