• I’m looking for a home to park excess cash for a period during which I think many parts of the stock market are substantially overvalued.
• In the past, the ETD market has been an excellent venue for this problem. Indeed one of the sources of my excess cash are ETD issues that have been called.
• I run a series of screens to examine the Universe of Medium Duration ETD issues and derive a candidate table.
• I then examine ladder building possibilities and build a candidate ladder.
• I acknowledge that there are slim (but highly useful) pickings available in the Medium market due to a shift to Long Duration.
