GNUS - Genius Brands sets worldwide rollout for Kartoon Channel

Genius Brands (GNUS +1.7%) has rolled out its plans for worldwide distribution of its Kartoon Channel after it wraps a couple of key acquisitions. Following a strategic investment in Germany's Your Family Entertainment and the pending acquisition of Wow Unlimited, Genius plans a "block" of children's animated series and expanded international distribution. The new block on YFE's international channels will be branded Kartoon Genius, to air every morning on the new channel footprint across Europe, the Middle East and Latin America. In those regions, Kartoon Channel Worldwide will partner with pay TV platforms that currently don't carry the channel. And as in the U.S., the company will expand international distribution through connected devices, smart TVs, tablets and mobile devices, Android TV and Apple TV "as well as AVOD, SVOD and FAST channels in international markets."
