Genprex ( NASDAQ: GNPX ) said Wednesday that it priced a registered direct offering to raise $7.5 million.

The company will issue and sell 7,425,744 shares and warrants to purchase up to 7,425,744 shares at a combined offering price of $1.01 per share and warrant.

The warrants have an exercise price of $0.885 per share.

H.C. Wainwright & Co. is acting as the exclusive placement agent for the offering.

The net proceeds from the offering will be used for working capital and general corporate purposes.

Shares -14.5% at 89 cents.
