GNGBF - Getinge's ventilator cuts time of mechanical ventilation by 35% in adult ICU patients

According to NAVIATOR trial, Getinge's ([[GNGBF]] +5.3%) patented Neurally Adjusted Ventilatory Assist ((NAVA)), increased the number of ventilator-free days and shortened the time of mechanical ventilation for adult patients with acute respiratory failure.The 306-subject independent trial was conducted in Spain and China. Study showed positive clinical effects for adult patients in ICU, with potential reduction of days on mechanical ventilation to 8 days from 12, equivalent to 35%.
