BAP - Gianfranco Ferrari to become Credicorp CEO

Credicorp (BAP) has appointed Gianfranco Ferrari as the company's new chief executive officer, effective January 2022.Ferrari is Deputy CEO and Head of Universal Banking, the main Line of Business at Credicorp.He will succeed Walter Bayly, who decided to retire at the end of 2021 after 28 year career at the Group, including the last three years as CEO of Credicorp.The company also highlighted that the board approved the creation of the position of COO from January 2022, to be held by Alejandro Perez-Reyes.
