Global Cord Blood (NYSE:CO) has rejected a $5/share proposal from Alternate Ocean Investment, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Haitong International Securities (OTCPK:HTNGF). Global's board said the offer "fails to properly reflect the value of the Company and maximize shareholder value." Global Cord Blood shares are up 1.8% after hours.
