GBLEF - Global Energy Metals Receives Results from Idaho-Based Monument Peak Project Confirming Presence of Significant Copper Silver and Gold Mineralization

(TheNewswire)

Vancouver, BC - TheNewswire - April 27, 2021 - GlobalEnergy Metals Corporation ( TSXV:GEMC ) | ( OTC:GBLEF ) | ( FSE:5GE1 ) (“Global Energy Metals”, the “Company” and/or“GEMC ”), a company involvedin the investment exposure to the battery metals supply chain, ispleased to announce results of the 2020 surface sampling program atthe Monument Peakcopper-silver-gold Project (“Monument Peak”), located in Lemhi County, Idaho,United States.

The Monument Peak Project consists of 69claims covering approximately 1,380 acres (approximately 558.5hectares). It is an exploration-stage, high-grade, copper-silver-goldproject, which covers two past-producing copper mines: Jackson andHungry Hill.  Past work on the project from the early 1900s throughthe 1980s identified significant copper, silver mineralization along a3,200 m trend that is generally from 3 to 6 m thick, but locallyreported to be as much as 53 m across.

The fall 2020 program, undertaken by DGResource Management Ltd., included the collection of 56 rock samplesto confirm historic results.  The field work confirmed both thepresence of significant Cu, Ag mineralization, but also the presenceof gold mineralization.

Highlights are asfollows:

    • - A total of 56 rock samples from threemain areas over 3,200 m strike and from the separate Hungry Hill Mine,and

      - Arithmetic average of all grab samples 2.34%Cu, 57.6 g/t Ag, 0.68 g/t Au .

Field crews visited four known mineraloccurrences (Jackson/Baker, Hungry Hill Mine, Anderson and NorthShowing) and confirmed the high-grade Cu-Ag (+/- Au) mineralization atall locations.  Outcrop is sparse throughout the property andcommonly only exposed by historic workings. Observed mineralizationstyle and grade is similar across all showings, with notably highercopper grades (up to 20.9% Cu) at Hungry Hill, while the North Showinghad the highest gold values (up to 11.4 g/t Au).  High grades ofsilver (greater than 80 g/t Ag) were associated with all mineraloccurrences.

Sample results aresummarized in Table 1 and highlighted below:

  • - North Showing: caved adit withabundant copper oxide staining around adit portal;

    - Baker/Jackson: several large trenches(to 50 m length); open adit of unknown length within folded schistsand quartzites, abundant copper oxide staining, hematite and quartzveins;

    - Anderson Showing: numerous trenchesand pits; and

    - Hungry Hill Mine: Two adits with roadto base, historical mine cart system. Abundant bornite/quartz veinsoccur within sheared chloritic schists at adit portal.

Mineralization is primarily hosted byquartzites, phyllites and schists of the Precambrian Belt Series andis associated with copper oxide stain, hematite and quartz veins.

Mitchell Smith, President & CEO, comments:

" The ongoing consolidation of strategicallylocated battery metals projects has allowed Global Energy Metals toestablish itself as a dominant holder of highly prospective criticalmetals projects with strong exploration and development upside.

Early exploration ofMonument Peak has shown not only exceptionally high grades of copper,which will be needed for the US’s domestic supply to continue theelectrification of their transportation system, but also significantconcentrations of gold and silver. "

The company is currently planning foradditional spring/summer reconnaissance exploration at Monument Peak,which will include the completion of a NI 43-101 compliant technicalreport, and which is intended to provide recommendations for anaggressive summer/fall drill program.

Qualityassurance/quality control

All rock samples collected (grab) aswell as quartz blanks and certified reference materials were shippedby ground to Activation Laboratories Ltd. in Kamloops, B.C., formulti-element analysis (including silver) by aqua regia digestion withICP-OES finish (code 1E3) and gold analysis by fire assay with AAfinish (package 1A2B-50). Over-limit results for gold, silver, copper,lead and zinc were determined by the relevant analyticalpackage.

Management cautions that prospectingsurface rock sample assays, as presented herein, are selective bynature and represent a point location and therefore may notnecessarily be fully representative of the mineralized horizonsampled.

Global Energy MetalsCorporation

(TSXV:GEMC | OTC:GBLEF| FSE:5GE1)

Global Energy Metals Corp. offers investment exposure to the growingrechargeable battery and electric vehicle market by building adiversified global portfolio of exploration and growth-stage batterymineral assets.

Global Energy Metals recognizes thatthe proliferation and growth of the electrified economy in the comingdecades is underpinned by the availability of battery metals,including cobalt, nickel, copper, lithium and other raw materials. Tobe part of the solution and respond to this electrification movement,Global Energy has taken a ‘consolidate, partner and invest’approach and in doing so have assembled and are advancing a portfolioof strategically significant investments in battery metalresources.

As demonstrated with our currentcopper, nickel and cobalt projects in Canada, Australia, Norway andthe United States, we’re investing-in, exploring and developingprospective, scaleable assets in established mining and processingjurisdictions in close proximity to end-use markets. We’re targetingprojects with low logistics and processing risks, so that they can befast tracked to enter the supply chain in this cycle.   We’realso collaborating with industry peers to strengthen our exposure tothese critical commodities and the associated technologies requiredfor a cleaner future.

Securing exposure to these criticalminerals powering the eMobility revolution is agenerational investment opportunity. We believe the the time to bepart of this electrification movement.
