GSAT - GlobalStar shares surge 9% to highest point in nearly a year
- GlobalStar ( NYSE: GSAT ) shares surged more than 9%, Wednesday, as the provider of mobile satellite services saw higher-than-usual trading volume on no major news involving the company.
- By Wednesday afternoon, GlobalStar's ( GSAT ) stock price had reached as high as $1.86 a share, its highest point since climbing to $1.93 a share on September 15, 2021. More than 11.7M shares of GlobalStar ( GSAT ) stock had traded hands, or nearly three times the 4.2M shares that are exchanged on an average ago.
- Earlier Wednesday, SpaceX tweeted that its Chief Executive, Elon Musk, and T-Mobile ( TMUS ) CEO Mike Sievert would hold a meeting on SpaceX.com to "announce plans" on working together to, ostensibly, improve mobile device connectivity .
