GGROW - Gogoro MUJI and Naoto Fukasawa collaborate on sustainable urban mobility solutions

• As part of their joint "Recycling for Good" sustainability campaign, Gogoro ( NASDAQ: GGR ) has announced a partnership with MUJI, a Tokyo-based consumer goods company, and Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa.
• The collaboration aims to enable the public to recycle polypropylene plastic waste for use in the new Gogoro MUJI Smartscooters.
• At a press conference in Taipei, the newly designed Gogoro VIVA ME and Gogoro VIVA MIX ME, as well as a variety of products and accessories, were unveiled.
• These Smartscooters offer a fresh take on urban mobility that is straightforward, cozy, and distinctive while using iconic MUJI design elements and recycled PP body components.
• Under the "Recycling for Good" initiative, PP plastic waste is recycled and used to create the body panels of the Gogoro Smartscooters. This aligns with MUJI’s commitment to sustainability and their use of PP in their own storage series.
• Gogoro pioneered the mass market manufacturing of recyclable polypropylene plastics for vehicle body panels in 2019 with the Gogoro 3 Smartscooter.
• Following this success, Gogoro collaborated with MUJI to create the new Smartscooter designs and accessories. The collaboration aims to promote sustainable lifestyles and reduce urban pollution by encouraging the public to recycle plastics at Gogoro and MUJI stores.
