(“Abitibi” orthe “Company”) ( CSE:AMQ) ( OTC:GSKKF ) (FSE:4KG) , a Quebec-focused mineralacquisition and exploration Company, is pleased to announce that ithas changed its name from "Goldseek Resources Inc." to"Abitibi Metals Corp." (the "Name Change"). TheCompany's trading symbol on the Canadian Securities Exchange haschanged to AMQ effective today (October 16, 2023); the Company'strading symbols on the OTC Markets (“OTC”) and Frankfurt StockExchange (“FSE”) will remain unchanged.

The Company’s CUSIP and ISIN identifiers have beenupdated as a result of the name change: CUSIP 00367M108 and ISINCA00367M1086.  Beneficial shareholders will have their common sharesupdated automatically. Registered holders will not be required totransmit their common shares under the old name but may contact theCompany’s transfer agent, Marelli Trust Company Limited if they wishto exchange their common share certificates / DRS advices for newcertificates / DRS advices in the new name.

The Company's management team feels that the new namemore accurately reflects the vision of establishing a diversifiedmetals company in Quebec. With a primary focus on the mineral-richAbitibi greenstone belt, the Company is currently actively evaluatingopportunities to acquire an advanced-stage copper and/or gold project.Specifically, the company is seeking to acquire a project with thefollowing characteristics:

• Has a current resource, historical resource or nearresource with existing well-defined targets that can produce a 43-101resource estimate within one year.
