Tiger Woods was injured in a car crash this morning, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.Woods was the only occupant in a car that crashed and rolled over. The golf superstar was extricated from the wreck with the jaws of life by Los Angeles County firefighters and paramedics and transported to a local hospital by ambulance for injuries. Woods is sponsored by Nike ([[NKE]] -1.1%), which sells a wide variety of apparel under the Tiger Woods Golf brand. Monster ([[MNST]] -1.2%) also sponsors Woods. Tiger Woods has such an impact on golf that following his Master win in 2019, both Callaway Golf ([[ELY]]) and Acushnet Holdings ([[GOLF]] +0.5%) rallied sharply.
