GTE - Gran Tierra reports Q1 average production of ~31.7k BOPD

• Gran Tierra Energy ( NYSE: GTE ) said Tuesday its average production was about 31,700 BOPD in Q1 of 2023.
• Acordionero field produced ~20,000 BOPD in Q1.
• In Q1, Gran tierra drilled 14 wells.
• Total current average production for Q2 to date is about 33,700 BOPD, at the high end of its previously disclosed production guidance.
• During second quarter 2023 to date, Acordionero’s current average production is about 20,000 BOPD.
• For its drilling campaign, the company said it plans to continue the development program until the end of Q2 2023, with its high-impact exploration drilling scheduled to commence early in Q3 2023.
• During Q1, GTE bought back about 13 million shares for ~$10.7 million, and repurchased about $8 million in face value of the company’s 6.25% senior notes due February 2025.
