GPL - Great Panther Mining: Cheap For A Reason
- Great Panther released its preliminary Q3 results earlier this month, which were quite disappointing, and followed this up with negative news on Urucum Central South.
- The UCS update means that we will see delayed access to high-grade ore given the remediation work required, setting Great Panther up for a huge miss on initial FY2021 guidance.
- With working capital slowly dwindling due to negative free cash flow, I would not be surprised by further share dilution in the next 12 months.
- So, while Great Panther may appear cheap at a fully diluted market cap of ~$180 million at US$0.47, I see the stock as cheap for a reason, given dilution risk, and permitting risk at GMC.
