Great Panther Mining is one of the worst-performing gold miners this year, which shouldn't be surprising given that it entered 2020 with permitting issues, and elevated cost guidance.
Unfortunately, production guidance just took a hit due to mining issues at the Urucum Central South Pit, with cost guidance now adjusted to $1,500/oz at the midpoint.
Between permitting uncertainty at Guanajuato and stability issues at Urucum Central South, Great Panther continues to be one of the least attractive ways to play the sector.
