GPRE - Green Plains to sell Nebraska ethanol plant in $64M deal
Green Plains Partners ([[GPRE]] -0.5%) agrees to sell its 65M-gallon Ord, Neb., ethanol plant to GreenAmerica Biofuels for $64M plus working capital.The company also agrees to acquire Ord's storage and transportation assets and the assignment of railcar leases from Green Plains Partners (GPP) for $27M, which will be utilized to pay down the partnership's debt.Green Plains will record a $37M pre-tax gain related to the transaction.Green Plains' current valuations are at a discount to historical levels, Opal Investment Research writes in a bullish analysis published recently on Seeking Alpha.
