(the “Company” or “Grid Battery”) ( TSXV:CELL ) ( OTC:EVKRF ) ( FRA:NMK2 ) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr.Steven McMillin, P.G. to the position of Qualified Person for itsvarious Nevada-based lithium exploration projects.

Mr. McMillin is a highly experienced and well-respectedexploration geologist. He has over 35 years of practical mineralexploration experience in the United States, with expertise on manydifferent exploration projects in Nevada.  Mr. McMillin is currentlya Field Operations Manager at Rangefront Geological (“Rangefront”)and is primarily responsible for the set-up and management ofRangefront client drill programs, like those at Grid Battery Metals. At Rangefront, his responsibilities include liaison with vendors andfederal/state regulators, establish drill safety, supervise drillingand sampling protocols, and supervise overall site reclamation.

Prior to his work at Rangefront, Mr. McMillin was aSenior and Chief Mine Geologist at Jerritt Canyon Gold LLC for sevenyears.  During his time at Jerritt Canyon, Mr. McMillin ledunderground near-mine exploration and resource development. Duringthis period, twelve new ore-bodies were discovered, and most weredeveloped. Prior to 2016, Mr. McMillin was Chief Mine Geologist atFire Creek with Klondex, Senior Exploration Geologist with Midway Goldat Spring Valley and Pan-Goldrock deposits, Senior Mine Geologist atJerritt Canyon with AngloGold and Queenstake Resources, and ProjectGeologist with Newmont Exploration in Nevada. He is an AIPG (AmericanInstitute of Professional Geologists) Certified Professional Geologistand member of the Geological Society of Nevada and the Society ofEconomic Geologists.

The Company owns a 100% interest in 113 lithium lodeand placer claims covering over 640 hectares in Clayton Valley.Clayton Valley is a down-dropped closed basin formed by the Mioceneage Great Basin extension and is still active due to movement alongthe Walker Lane structural zone.  As a result, the basin haspreserved multiple layers of lithium bearing volcanic ash, resultingfrom multiple eruptive events over the past 6 million years includingeruptions from the 700,000-year-old Long Valley Caldera system andrelated events.  These ash layers are thought to contribute to thelithium brines extracted by Albemarle and are also likely involved inthe formation of the exposed lithium rich clay deposits on the eastside of Clayton Valley.

Volt Canyon Lithium Property

The Company owns a 100% interest in 80 placer claimscovering approximately 635 hectares of alluvial sediments and clayslocated 122 km northeast of Tonopah, Nevada.
