HAL - Halliburton to provide digital solutions for Kuwait Oil

Halliburton (HAL) +3.3% pre-market after announcing it was awarded a contract from Kuwait Oil to collaborate on the maintenance and expansion of digital solutions; the size of the contract is not disclosed.Kuwait Oil will "accelerate their data-to-decisions cycle by designing and operating digital twins of the field to automate work processes, supported by DecisionSpace 365," Halliburton's a cloud-based subscription service for E&P applications.Halliburton recently reported better than expected Q4 adjusted earnings, helped by cost cuts and a recovery in demand for oilfield equipment and services.
