Hanover Insurance Group's (THG) board accelerates its leadership transition plan, electing current board vice chair Cynthia L. Egan to chair, effective Dec. 1 instead of in May 2021.Egan was due to take over as chair after current chair P. Kevin Condron reached retirement age under board policy.The acceleration will allow for overlap and transition support prior to his expected retirement in 2021, the company said.
