LHDX - Health Canada issues 'authorization with conditions' for Lucira's COVID-19 test kit

Medical technology company Lucira Health ([[LHDX]] +5.3%) announces that Health Canada has issued an "authorization with conditions" for the LUCIRA CHECK IT COVID-19 test kit. The approval makes Lucira's kit the first self-test authorized by Health Canada for individuals with or without COVID-19 symptoms.The kit delivers PCR quality molecular accuracy in 30 minutes or less at home and is expected to be available online for Canadians to order by June 2021 for about C$75.Lucira’s test kit is also authorized in the U.S. for prescription at-home and point of care use.
