HXGBF - Hexagon to buy Infor's EAM business for $2.75B
Digital reality solutions company Hexagon (HXGBF) has agreed to acquire the global enterprise asset management ((EAM)) business of industry cloud company Infor for ~$2.75B.The transaction includes a mix of cash and stock. Koch Industries, the parent company of Infor, will have an ownership stake in Hexagon. MSAB, the main shareholder of Hexagon, will recommend Brett Watson, president of Koch Equity Development, another subsidiary of Koch, as a nominee for the Board of Directors.The EAM business and its ~500 employees will be positioned within Hexagon's Industrial Enterprise Solutions segment and serve Hexagon businesses in asset-intensive ecosystems including mines, manufacturing and farms. Its solutions will be combined with Hexagon's sensor, autonomous and software technologies.Several Koch companies already use Infor's EAM solutions and Hexagon's industrial facility and enterprise project performance solutions.
