HIW - Highwoods Properties signs two new long-term leases in Tampa

Highwoods Properties (NYSE:HIW) has signed two new leases in Tampa; one is a office building in Tampa's Westshore BBD at 5332 Avion which now makes it 95% leased and second is also a office building in Tampa's Westshore BBD at One Independence. The second lease fully backfills the company's two largest remaining lease expirations for 2022 with a new customer to Highwoods and no downtime. These leases secure steady cash flows for the company's future and eliminates its largest 2022 lease rollover risk.
