HOUSTON , Feb. 9, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- HNR Acquisition Corp (the "Company") (NYSE: HNRA) today announced that, on February 5, 2023 , it has received notice from HNRAC Sponsors LLC (the "Sponsor") of its intention to extend the period of time by which the Company must complete its initial business combination from February 15, 2023 to May 15, 2023 . The Company also announced that, on February 8, 2023 , in accordance with the Company's Certificate of Incorporation, the Sponsor's designee has timely deposited into trust account an aggregate of $862,500 , representing $0.10 per public share of the Company, in order to effect such extension.
