HOLX - Hologic Q3 net income jumps 95% on significant YoY revenue increase

In the quarter, the company had revenue of $1.17B, a 42.2% year-over-year increase that beat analysts expectations by $130M. Also, Q3 Non-GAAP EPS of $1.33 beat by $0.21. Hologic saw its biggest revenue increases in the quarter in the areas of gynecology/surgical and interventional breast solutions. Year-over-year increases were, respectively, 148.4% and 123.1%. Cash flow from operations was $662.9M. The company also repurchased 3M shares in the quarter worth $188M. Q4 revenue guidance came within consensus range: $1B-$1.04B (consensus $1.03B).
