• We do a homebuilder beauty contest because finding the right company to invest for the long term is more important than "timing the market".
• We shortlist 5 companies from leading homebuilders for both Blue-Chip and Growth categories.
• Our Growth shortlist is narrowed to LGI Homes, Century Communities, KB Home, N.V.R. Inc., and D.R. Horton (DHI).
• Our Blue-Chip short is narrowed to NVR, D.R. Horton, PulteGroup, Lennar Corp, and Toll Brothers.
• We believe 30 year mortgage rates will rebound sooner or later, which will present buying opportunities. We explain the correlation.
