HON - Honeywell to buy head-up display technology for planes from Saab

• Honeywell International ( NASDAQ: HON ) on Wednesday announced an agreement to buy the head-up-display (HUD) technology unit of Saab ( OTCPK:SAABY ) ( OTCPK:SAABF ), the Swedish aerospace and defense company. Terms of the agreement weren't disclosed.
• As part of the agreement, Saab will work with Honeywell ( HON ) to develop and strengthen its head-up-display, also knowns as heads-up-display, product line.
• HUDs give pilots increased situational awareness, especially at night or in difficult weather conditions, according to a statement.
