HRZN - Horizon Technology Finance says Q1 new loans of $47M

• Specialty finance company Horizon Technology Finance ( NASDAQ: HRZN ) said on Thursday its Horizon platform originated $47M of new loans in Q1, which includes $40M of new loans for HRZN.
• The loans include $20M lent to a new portfolio company, $7M to the existing portfolio company Swift Health Systems, $5M to the portfolio company that is a developer of a cloud-native, software platform for the property and casualty insurance segment, $3.75M to the portfolio company Divergent Technologies, $2.75M to the existing portfolio company which is a provider of a global platform for biopharma and medtech regulated digital health solutions, among others.
• Also, the company received $29M in loan payoffs during the quarter.
