EVGO - Hot Stocks: AMD hits high; EV alt. energy rally; AUTL gets investment; EHTH JOBS plunge

On a lackluster session for the overall market, alternative energy and electric vehicle stocks got a charge on Monday. The sectors jumped on the promise of increased government spending following the passage of a massive infrastructure bill. FuelCell Energy (NASDAQ:FCEL), Bloom Energy (NYSE:BE), Ballard Power Systems (NASDAQ:BLDP), Plug Power (NASDAQ:PLUG), ChargePoint (NYSE:CHPT), EVgo (NASDAQ:EVGO) and Blink Charging (NASDAQ:BLNK) all recorded notable gains on the session. Elsewhere in the market, Autolus Therapeutics (NASDAQ:AUTL) represented one of the day's standout gainers. A massive investment from Blackstone (NYSE:BX) allowed AUTL to expand its value by more than a quarter. Meanwhile, Advanced Micro Devices (NASDAQ:AMD) added to recent strength, extending its 52-week high on news that two of the world's largest companies plan to buy more of its computer chips. On the other side of the spectrum, eHealth (NASDAQ:EHTH) lost a quarter of its value following the release of a disappointing quarterly report. 51job
