BILL - Hot Stocks: AXSM surges on FDA approval MSGS also rises and BILL ballooned upward 15% while DE dives
Axsome Therapeutics, Inc. ( NASDAQ: AXSM ) popped well into the green after the biopharma firm received approval for its depression disorder drug from the United States Food and Drug Administration. Shares of Bill.com Holdings, Inc. ( NYSE: BILL ) have also tracked higher by more than 15% and the Madison Square Garden Sports Corp. ( NYSE: MSGS ) is in positive territory as well.
At the other end of the spectrum, Deere & Company ( NYSE: DE ) have found themselves lower as the company delivered Wall Street with a mixed quarterly earnings report.
Gainers
Shares of Axsome Therapeutics, Inc. ( AXSM ) exploded in premarket trading by 37.6% as the biopharmaceutical firm received FDA approva l for Auvelity extended-release tablets which supports adults with major depressive disorder.
Bill.com Holdings, Inc. ( BILL ) has ballooned upward by 16.6% in early market trading. The financial software firm blew past its fiscal Q4 results, topping the Street’s consensus and issued FY2023 and Q1 revenue guidance that surpassed forecast estimates .
Madison Square Garden Sports Corp. ( MSGS ) ticked higher on Friday by 3.1% . MSGS stated that it will explore a potential spin-off to create a separate public company comprised of its traditional live entertainment business and its MSG Networks business.
Decliner
Deere & Company ( DE ) slid 3.9% Friday morning as the agricultural machinery firm posted a mixed earnings report that missed on GAAP EPS but surpassed revenue estimates. DE reported FQ3 GAAP EPS of $6.16 which missed estimates by $0.53. At the same time DE sported revenue of $14.1B (+22.3% Y/Y), topping forecasts by $1.26B.
