SITM - Hot Stocks: BBY URBN ZM drop on quarterly results; DKS rallies; SITM EBS rise on S&P reshuffling

A couple of retailers saw their stocks plummet in Tuesday's pre-market action despite quarterly earnings that nominally beat expectations. Best Buy (NYSE:BBY) and Urban Outfitters (NASDAQ:URBN) posted double-digit percentage declines on signs that sales won't be able to keep up their recent blistering pace. Zoom Video (NASDAQ:ZM) also fell on earnings news. The company issued a revenue forecast that was poorly received by investors. However, there was one major bright spot on the earnings front Tuesday morning. Dick's Sporting Goods (NYSE:DKS) saw a major pre-market advance following release of strong quarterly results. Meanwhile, SiTime (NASDAQ:SITM) and Emergent BioSolutions (NYSE:EBS) both recorded gains before the bell thanks to a reshuffling in S&P indexes. Gainers While BBY and URBN dropped following their quarterly results, fellow retailer Dick's Sporting Goods (DKS) saw a 3% bump thanks to better-than-expected financial figures.
