Jobs data provided the main focus during Friday's trading, with the major averages finishing the day mixed following a weaker-than-expected U.S. August employment report. The disappointing stats had an unexpected impact on the cruise sector, with Carnival (NYSE:CCL), Royal Caribbean (NYSE:RCL) and Norwegian Cruises (NYSE:NCLH) all losing ground on the session. Joby Aviation (NYSE:JOBY) had a rough session as well, the latest victim of the expiration of a post-SPAC lock-up for PIPE investors. Worries that early investors might begin unloading stock prompted a double-digit percentage decline on Friday. Another recent addition to the Wall Street family had its troubles Friday as well. Torrid Holdings Inc. (NYSE:CURV) capped off a volatile couple of weeks by threatening to break its IPO price.
