DAL - Hot Stocks: Earnings news moves DAL AAL BAC SCR; CMP makes major lithium discovery

Delta Air (DAL) posted pre-market gains following the release of its quarterly results. Rival American Airlines (AAL) also saw gains, thanks to increased revenue guidance. Meanwhile, Bank of America (BAC) lost ground in the wake of its earnings report. Score Media and Gaming (SCR) also suffered an earnings-related setback. Compass Minerals (CMP) jumped before the bell on news that it has discovered a lithium resource in Utah. Delta Air Lines reported a Q2 loss that was narrower than analysts had expected. The company also topped revenue projections, with a top-line figure that rose 385% from 2020's depressed levels to reach $7.13B. DAL advanced 1.7% before the bell.
