DIBS - Hot Stocks: SONO OPEN climb on earnings; DIBS UTZ GRWG slide

Sonos (NASDAQ:SONO) and Opendoor Technologies (NASDAQ:OPEN) represented standout gainers in Thursday's midday trading. Both received a boost from strong quarterly results. There was also a fair share of earnings disappointments. 1stdibs.com (NASDAQ:DIBS), Utz Brands (NYSE:UTZ) and GrowGeneration (NASDAQ:GRWG) all suffered intraday selling as a result of their latest financial figures. Sonos (SONO) reported a profit for its latest quarter, surprising analysts, who had generally expected the company to report a loss. Revenue jumped 52% to $378.7M. The company also raised its outlook for the full year, saying it now expects revenue of $1.695B-$1.710B. On the news, SONO climbed nearly 6% in midday trading. Opendoor Technologies (OPEN) also received a boost from its earnings report. The company beat on the top and bottom lines. In addition, the firm provided strong guidance for the current quarter. Bolstered by its better-than-expected forecast, OPEN jumped more than 17%. Earnings news had the opposite impact
