ACRHF - House Judiciary Committee to mark-up marijuana legalization bill next week

The House Judiciary Committee on Sept. 29 will mark-up a bill that could pave the way for federal legalization of marijuana. The panel will consider H.R. 3617, also known as the Marijuana Opportunity Reinvestment and Expungement Act of 2021. Multi-state operators: Trulieve (OTCQX:TCNNF +1.0%); Harvest Health & Recreation (OTCQX:HRVSF +2.5%); Curaleaf (OTCPK:CURLF -1.2%); Acreage Holdings (OTCQX:ACRHF -4.0%); Cresco Labs (OTCQX:CRLBF +0.2%) ; Green Thumb Industries (OTCQX:GTBIF +2.4%); and MedMen Enterprises (OTCQB:MMNFF -9.2%). The legislation would decriminalize cannabis on the federal level, declassify it as a controlled substance, and provide aid through the Small Business Administration to those impacted by the War on Drugs.
