HUM - Humana raises $1.25B debt capital

• Humana ( NYSE: HUM ) has p riced a public offering of $1.25B of senior notes in two tranches.
• Comprising of $500M of 5.700 percent senior notes, due 2026, at 99.984 percent of the principal amount and $750M of 5.500 percent senior notes, due 2053, at 96.431 percent of the principal amount.
• Offerings are expected to close on March 13, 2023.
• The company expects net proceeds of approximately $1.211B will be used to repay outstanding amounts under its $500M Delayed Draw Term Loan and the remaining proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.
