OPORF - hVIVO signs second bespoke human challenge model contract in as many months

hVIVO PLC (AIM:HVO) chief executive MoKhan speaks to Thomas Warner from Proactive after announcing that thespecialist contract research organisation has begun work on a new FluB human challenge model as part of a new deal with an existing"large pharma" client company. Khan lays out the timeline forthe rest of the work on the contract, suggesting that the "wholemanufacturing process" should be complete by the end of Q3, atwhich point a characterisation study will begin.
He adds that ifthe characterisation study is successful then he hopes the "fullblown" human challenge trial can begin in the new year. Khan goeson to describe the potential impact of the model as "quitesignificant", highlighting some additional funding from the clientto help expedite the process.
